The Perth Link Roads Project
The Perth Link Roads Project is designed to improve safety and efficiency by removing heavy vehicles from the centre of Perth as they travel to and from the northern and north-western ports.
This project provides key link roads around the western side of Perth. The project will connect to recently completed Perth to Breadalbane project undertaken by VEC Shaw JV. The project is a design and construct contract for the provision of a new 4-lane highway (approx. 4.5km) from the South Esk River Bridge, efficiently connecting Hobart with Launceston to the North and Devonport to the West. Work on the project site is due to start in late 2018.
VEC Shaw JV, a joint venture between VEC Civil Engineering Pty Ltd and Shaw Contracting (Aust.) Pty Ltd, has been selected as the preferred contractor to deliver the Perth Link Roads for the Department of State Growth, subject to final contract award.
Further details will be provided in due course along with contact details for any subcontractors or suppliers wishing to become involved in the project.
